Language Teachings and Development
The Center for Italian Studies in Tallahassee has as its mission the promotion, diffusion and teaching of Italian language, culture, heritage, and history. It aims to provide a resource to help local university students of Italian through the organization and creation of practical activities and cultural events.

One of our goals is to build skills for immediate communication helping students to develop strong Italian language foundations.

  • Organization of Lectures, Symposia
  • Organization of film viewings and discussions
  • Collaboration with other Italian-American organizations in Florida
SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS
  • Yearly Small Grants for The Florida State University Honors Night for outstanding students of Italian
  • Small grants for students participating in Concordia College Italian language camps/workshops
  • Yearly Grants for the best paper and/or the best story in Italian to be posted in our FORUM.
  • Grants for outstanding students of Italian coming to The University of Salento Study Program.
